If you are a strong, community-minded individual who is successful in leading a business or practicing a profession in the general area of South Richmond, Virginia we would like you to consider the Rotary Club of South Richmond as a conduit for participating in good community and world-wide service projects and experiencing some really great fellowship with like individuals of all ages, gender and experience levels with like dedication.

Rotary is a "by invitation" organization ! We are a Service Club in that our prime mission is to support and become involved in all kinds of local, District and worldwide charitable activities. Our commitment involves financial support and physically working in these endeavors.

There are approximately 1.2 million Rotarians in the world and they are found in Rotary Clubs in most nations in the world. And, through the Foundation of Rotary International, to which all of us contribute, we are able to take on educational and other initiatives in many parts of the world.

One of the most important benefits which we all gain from Rotary is the wonderful fellowship which we enjoy with each other. Our Club meets for lunch at 1230 hours at Meadowbrook Country Club, located just off Cogbill Road in northern Chesterfield County . Of the almost 100 members on the roll, we usually have at least 70 attending these luncheon meetings, plus a number of members of other area Rotary Clubs who enjoy "making up" their attendance at South Richmond . We have a pretty full "social calendar" with our Holiday party, Dog Bowl golf tournament, Founders Night/Officer Installation, Poker Tournament and other events. Around Thanksgiving, we sell a LOT of peanuts as one our fund-raisers.
